Annaleena Keso is a Finnish born, New York based photographer who recently finished her MFA in photography at Parsons School for Design. Before that she spent a year at New York Film Academy's photography conservatory program. In 2013 she completed a Bachelor of Arts in History at the University of Helsinki with a minor in Sociology and Gender Studies. Annaleena’s photographic practice combining portraiture with staged events examines issues concerning body image, gender and her own struggles with mental health.
